Forest Moon Hand-Dyed Flax Sliver (Far Far Away collection)
Hand-dyed fiber braid from the Far Far Away collection, on flax fiber. Flax is the material from which linen is made, and therefore responsible for one of my very favorite fabrics! The most well-known bast fiber in modernity, it has been edged out of the top spot by cotton and synthetics, but for durability, breathability, and sustainability, bast fibers can’t be beat.
Soft greens, gray-browns, and occasional stormtrooper-white come together to create this colorway inspired by the setting of our favorite plucky rebels in a last-ditch effort to defeat an evil empire. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different.
