Silk Road Hand-Dyed Tussah Silk Top
Hand-dyed tussah silk. Like all silk, tussah is strong, soft, very fine, and an excellent insulator. Unlike the more popular bombyx silk, however, tussah usually has gold tones and can contain more texture.
Rich blues, reds, gold/amber, greens, all muted as if by time and distance, across the years and miles spanned by the Silk Road, evoking the wealth which flowed along it in both directions. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different.
