Stellar Nursery Rambouillet Combed Top
Hand-dyed fiber braid in Stellar Nursery colorway, shown on combed Rambouillet top. Descended from Spanish Merino sheep via some time in French flocks, the Rambouilet I use is US-grown. With micron counts in the very low 20s and lots of fluffy body, Rambouillet is one of my favorite finewool fibers to spin. Braids are 4 oz each.
Vivid blue and green, soft, muted violets and grays; the effect is reminiscent of nebula photos. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different.
All my fibers are dyed in a smoke free, pet friendly home.
