Handspun yarn in weight 5/bulky thick-and-thin spiral ply, spun from batts consisting of 75% wool (Cheviot, CVM, Columbia/Rambouillet cross), 20% Tussah silk, and 5% soysilk plied with Merino/silk thread. The yarn measures 8 wpi. The yarn has been extensively fulled for durability.
Two skeins available: 2.2 oz/47 yards and 2.4 oz/73 yards.
The yarn is finished with a Z twist, meaning it may feel more natural to crocheters and Continental knitters than the majority of commercial yarns - but English knitters needn’t feel left out; it can be knitted that way too! As for weaving, it would make a lovely weft.

Care instructions: hand wash finished items in cool to lukewarm water, with gentle detergent or baby shampoo. Do not subject to harsh scrubbing/wringing or sudden temperature shocks when wet unless felting is desired. Reshape and dry flat.
