Raspberry Ripple art batt

$28.00

Fiber batt made using hand-dyed fibers, Raspberry Ripple is a blend of 86% wool (CVM, Romney/Cheviot cross, Columbia/Rambouillet cross) and 14% Tussah silk. The Romney/Cheviot used in this blend is a strong wool with striking lock structure and wavy crimp, while the CVM and Columbia/Rambouillet fleeces are softer, finer-crimp wools. These work together to provide both durability and a great hand to yarns produced from the blend, especially once the silk is added, contributing both strength and softness itself. The majority of the wools used at Fat Lady’s Song are processed from raw fleeces sourced directly from nearby shepherds and farmers.

Vivid pinks streak through a background of creamy white, just as ripples of raspberry through rich vanilla ice cream. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different. Batts are 2.75 ox each.

All my fibers are dyed and blended in a smoke free, pet friendly home studio.

If you are interested in a larger quantity or would like to purchase Raspberry Ripple blended using different fibers, please reach out to me! I’d be thrilled to whip up a batch to order.
