Threshing Floor

$25.00

Fiber batt made using hand-dyed fibers, Oaks for All Seasons is a blend of 97% wool (Columbia/Rambouillet from Montana, CVM from Colorado, and Romney/Cheviot from New England) and 3% tussah silk. The Columbia/Rambouillet and CVM fleeces provide a soft, fine-crimp lock and texture, emphasized by the tussah silk, with a touch of wavy crimp and strength from the Romney/Cheviot.

Reminiscent of late-summer grain processing in a classical era threshing house, with greens and golds strewn across a marble floor. Color-wise, the batt consists of golds and greens in a bed of natural off-white fleece. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different.

3.1 oz batts.

All my fibers are dyed and blended in a smoke free, pet friendly home.

If you are interested in a larger quantity or would like to purchase Threshing Floor blended using different fibers, please reach out to me! I’d be thrilled to whip up a batch to order.
