Fiber batt from the Far Far Away collection, made using hand-dyed fibers. Double Sunset consists of 94% wool (Columbia/Rambouillet cross, CVM, Cotswold/Wensleydale cross locks) processed from raw, regionally-sourced fleeces, 3% silk, and 3% mohair. Columbia/Rambouillet and CVM fleeces are fine, tightly-crimped wools which make this batt feel like a cloud even before the silk is added! Mohair and locks add some body as well.
Riotous sunset colors come together here in this evocation of a Tatooine dusk. Orange, yellow, violet, magenta, periwinkle, and silver all contribute to the effect. Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different.
