Goblin Fruit Locks, Wensleydale

$10.00

Wensleydale sheep are known for their luscious, lustrous, curly locks, and they are one of my favorite things to dye! “We must not look at goblin men, we must not buy their fruits: who knows upon what soil they fed their hungry thirsty roots?” Fortunately, unlike the fruits from the poem, these have no glamour upon them, no power to compel. They’re just pretty! With the reds of raspberries and cranberries and the purples of blackberries and blueberries, but with none of the stickiness! The locks measure from 5” to 7” in length, and are deliciously soft. Sold by the ounce.

Longwool locks such as these are ideal for needle felting, wet felting, weaving accents, or any of a slew of spinning projects.
