Wool from a fleece processed right here! Staple length about 4”, of a medium-strong fiber - definitely not one of the wedding-shawl Shetlands, but a wool with a lot of potential uses nonetheless. This fleece has been scoured, picked, dyed, and teased open. Most VM has been removed through this process, but a bit does remain.
Perfect for those interested in working with wool a bit closer to the source but not ready to dive into scouring and dyeing a fleece from the beginning! Card it, comb it, felt it - the choice is yours!
