Silk gauze is a super floaty and sheer fabric, eager to grab onto fiber and the lightest-weight fabric I carry.
This piece is a 13×43” 3 mm gauze scarf blank low-water immersion dyed with shades of burgundy on a field of soft blue.
All of my nuno silks have unfinished edges. Some may have one or two selvedge edges but all have at least some raw edges. You can finish these by felting over them, rolling and stitching, or just leave them as-is for an extra rustic look.
