Woodland Hand-Dyed Worsted Weight 50% Merino Wool/50% Cotton Yarn
A multi-ply worsted weight yarn, merino/cotton blend, super soft and loaded with all the colors of the late-summer forest: Soft leafy green and dark mossy green, light aster purple and rich deep violet, and a sunny yellow.
Photos are taken in natural light with as much color fidelity as possible, but please remember that screens vary, so from one device to another it may appear slightly different. The skeins were dyed together but due to the nature of hand-painting yarns and fibers there will be slight variations from one skein to the next. If using multiple skeins in a project it is suggested to alternate between two skeins every row or two. in order to mitigate the effect of this variation.
Yarn is wrapped in a hank. Caking is available upon request. 220 yards/100 g per hank.
All my fibers are dyed in a smoke free, pet friendly home.
Care instructions: hand wash finished items in cool to lukewarm water, with gentle detergent. Reshape and dry flat.
This yarn is dyed using mill ends, meaning it is a one-off lot. If you want a larger quantity, I can attempt to find a similar yarn base to create a sister or cousin yarn, or I would also be happy to dye the colorway on a different yarn base if desired.
